Website for Luftman, Heck & Associates LLP (home)

Luftman, Heck & Associates LLP is a Law firm based in Columbus, Ohio. Their current website is 100% flash and they asked SUM a total overhaul so this is how their new site is going to look in a few weeks. I really enjoy working on corporate sites, specially when they give you enough freedom to speak your mind and share your points of view.

One other thing that I found particularly interesting about this project is that I tried to De-Web-2.0-lize (does that even mean something?) the design and stay away from the gradients. I also used lots of negative margins and I chose Verdana size 11 for the copy. Good news is the client is very happy with the result and the site should be launched in the next few weeks. You can view how the inner section looks here.

Well, I definitely dig the clean, sleek and elegant design. I applaud your decision for ditching the gradient, Web2.0-esque design because too much gradients might make the website a little too eye-catching and dazzling, which doesn’t suit the page of a law firm I think :)

I adore the sharp, distinct colours, when you used light blue/grey against the dark background for the footer and piece of information below the image (as for the image, I assume it’s random? Since it differs from the other flickr photo you’ve plugged).

Clean, corporate work. I like it. The white space and photography is especially pleasing.
