Olive stripes Curtain texture

It’s nearly lunch time and today’s special is textures. I love textures so when Smashing Magazine announced their Texture Contest, I start digging on my library and found these, so without further ado, I present The Olive stripes curtain, one of my submissions for the Smashing Magazine’s Texture Contest. More textures after the jump.

I love the Olive Stripes because of it’s highly contrasted bands of colour as well as the earthy tone :) not to mention the ice particles on the plane window, it’s lovely! Reminds me of the hexagonal crystal lattice structure of ice - that could be a great pattern and texture as well!

Stumbled upon your blog via your poster submission (and a winning entry) at Veerle’s blog. Congratulations on that! Will be back soon.

Morning Teddy!

Thank you! I could actually see those in the full size version and let me tell you, they look exactly like they usually show them on cartoons.

Once again, thank you for stopping by.

Dear Juanma, seriously this is the quickest response I’ve ever got from a blog author, heh! And you’re already wide awake by… 6.45am in the morning? Woah, that’s really early. I assume it’s still Friday day over there, so yep, have fun and look forward to a fantastic weekend ahead. It’s 9pm here already though!

It’s still Friday, and yes, I had to finish up a few things before the week is over (which means by 4:59PM) :D and I usually enjoy getting a full night sleep and getting up early to make the most out of my day.

Plus, it’s easier to focus when nobody is walking around or calling you on the phone.
